More great views

We did have some incredibly good weather, and took several trips in Cutty, the sturdy (if slow) dinghy that comes with Torso farmhouse. We visited a couple of local gardens, where the rhododendrons are especially prolific:-

Also walked past Kilbrandon church, where we stopped for a wee rest:-

Seafari Adventure

This was an amazing trip - from nearby Easdale.

The boat went at quite a speed and took us round the nearby coastal areas where wildlife could be seen - grey seals, red dear, eagles and the like:-

Art on Torsa

As ever, Mum got out her paper and pencils and created these masterpieces, inspired by the beautiful surroundings:

AS you can see, Dad was mostly happy with a book!

Next day...

Rather a wet and windy one today, so we had a lazy breakfast then took our dinghy Cutty over to Luing Island, where we visited the brand new Atlantic Islands visitor centre:-

Back on Torsa, the rain died down so after dinner we set out for a walk round the island. It was still light when we got back at 10pm!

Torsa '15

(Posting a week after the event, as there was no wifi on our island!)

We had a great journey and arrived in the sunshine (though it's hailing now) and are both thrilled to be back on our hermit's island! Some views from the conservatory:-
