Kefalonia revisited

Well here we are again! This time on the West coast of the island, staying in the aptly-named Sunset House. Views are wonderful:

 Spot the Dad:

There's lots to do here though:

And we're walking-distance from the local tavernas. Here we are last night at 'Greek night' - lots of bazouki playing and a spot of Greek dancing, but not by us!

More great views

We did have some incredibly good weather, and took several trips in Cutty, the sturdy (if slow) dinghy that comes with Torso farmhouse. We visited a couple of local gardens, where the rhododendrons are especially prolific:-

Also walked past Kilbrandon church, where we stopped for a wee rest:-

Seafari Adventure

This was an amazing trip - from nearby Easdale.

The boat went at quite a speed and took us round the nearby coastal areas where wildlife could be seen - grey seals, red dear, eagles and the like:-

Art on Torsa

As ever, Mum got out her paper and pencils and created these masterpieces, inspired by the beautiful surroundings:

AS you can see, Dad was mostly happy with a book!

Next day...

Rather a wet and windy one today, so we had a lazy breakfast then took our dinghy Cutty over to Luing Island, where we visited the brand new Atlantic Islands visitor centre:-

Back on Torsa, the rain died down so after dinner we set out for a walk round the island. It was still light when we got back at 10pm!

Torsa '15

(Posting a week after the event, as there was no wifi on our island!)

We had a great journey and arrived in the sunshine (though it's hailing now) and are both thrilled to be back on our hermit's island! Some views from the conservatory:-
