Busy week

Started with a visit to Fluke in Bath. We clicked for the first sunny day in years (well, days but it seemed like years!)

Looking for deer at Dyrham Park

The deer were elusive but we saw some great snowdrops

and ate some delicious cake!

Later this week, the sun came out AGAIN and Mum took a drive past the house where she grew up in Chesham Bois.

Penwarne looks just the same - down to the gate

and it was good to see the magnolia tree planted in memory of Granny Bobs and GG, just about to flower:

Lydia left for Cairo on Thursday night and sent a new photo taken on Friday

Waking up to blue skies yet again this morning, we headed for the hills and took a lovely 5- mile walk from Wendover, through the woods to the top of Coombe Hill

Glorious views, followed by a ploughman's at the Russell Arms - bliss!
