We can hardly believe it's nearly the end of our hols, but making the most of our last day. Glad that the UK remains intact!

This has happened quite a lot. Predictable result: Dad 5; Mum 1!

Yesterday we had the beach to ourselves

... A few boats came to visit

... And one other person (look in the background) who always seemed to be there, though his way of enjoying the beach is illegal in Greece!!

Anyway, this morning we've walked down to Fiskardo for a delicious coffee - and wifi!

Sunsets on the beach

On Tuesday we found two more lovely beaches - St Jerusalem and Alaties, just down the road from our villa, and watched a most glorious sunset from one of them:-

Yesterday morning we drove and walked to Fiskardo, then took a circular route, via 2 beaches and back to the car:-

Just stopped for a little breakfast!

Coffee, almond pie and waffle. Yum!

The route went through the grounds of a hotel, clearly popular with the Greeks - there was an outdoor Orthodox chapel!

Then the walk took us through the woods, with all sorts of info about the local flora and fauna...

Until we hit the beach - Kimilia at it's best!

Mum was there too - but shade bathing, naturally.

We finally reached the point of the walk (a WW2 German battery) - great views again.

And today we have chilled out. Back at Alaties for a tasty sunset.

As you can see, we're still loving it here. Back soon - but will it be to the same UK??

Island adventurers

So we have been exploring the island on foot and the sea by boat and snorkel. Here's the evidence:-)

So that was the Lighthouse Trail

And that was a day out on one of Regina's boats 

(yes, the walk took us back past the taverna so we had to stop for a quick ice cream!)
